Overview
In the center of Wayanad, Kerala, Phantom Rock, also called Cheengeri Mala, is a remarkable natural rock feature situated roughly 13 kilometers from Kalpetta. This famous location gets its name from the striking likeness of its visage to that of the Phantom, the fabled comic book superhero also known as “The Ghost Who Walks.” Travelers and photographers alike frequent the rock because of its unique skull-like shape, which is particularly evocative of the Phantom’s masked face.
